About ICYL
The Islamic Center of Yorba Linda (ICYL) community first started gathering for Ramadan in 1996 and was formally established in 2006 with a vision to help people fall in love with Allah (God). Today, ICYL serves nearly 1,000 congregants through a set of programs which merge both practical and spiritual knowledge.

Committees
Programs Committee
The Programs Committee consists of a team of visionaries working behind the scenes at ICYL. Our mission is to conceptualize, design, and deliver extraordinary large-scale events, such as Islamic conferences and festivals, that bring joy and connection to our community.
Through meticulous planning, creative innovation, and seamless execution, we strive to create unforgettable experiences that inspire and uplift. Let’s keep the magic happening behind the scenes.
Outreach Committee
The Outreach Committee plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between the Islamic Center of Yorba Linda and the broader community. Our mission is to engage with local communities, organizations, and leaders to promote mutual understanding and respect.
We serve as the public face of ICYL in the broader community, ensuring that the mosque’s contributions and perspectives are effectively communicated in the media and public forums. Our efforts help build a more inclusive society where all groups can thrive together. By embodying the principles of Islamic compassion and neighborliness, the Outreach Committee plays a pivotal role in making Yorba Linda a better place for all its residents.
